Twitter is a social network in which you can search items and get real time updates. Its a way for celebreties to interact with their fans. The whole concept of twitter is to follow someone one meaning recieving their updates in your timeline. The way it goes is "if I scratch your back, you scratch mine" meaning if I follow you, you follow me. It is an interesting experience you are open to the world an also many different things.
Even though you are free to state your opinions, but don't forget if you have a public timeline anybody can search you on twitter and see your post such as your boss, a collegue or your teacher.
